Blair-Taylor proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Whitehall Norse 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Blair-Taylor had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 9-25, 19-25, 25-16, 25-18, 15-13.
Chloe Medenblik paced Blair-Taylor's offense, picking up 18 kills. Medenblik got some help from Elissa Smetana and her 27 assists. Finally, Andrea Waldera kept Blair-Taylor's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
Loss or not, Whitehall got some senior leadership from Kyla Lambeck and Avvia Herman. Lambeck had 16 assists and 11 digs, while Herman had 12 digs and one assist.
