Volleyball Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas Comes Up Short

St. Thomas Aquinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the South Plainfield Tigers. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14.

St. Thomas Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Plainfield, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, St. Thomas Aquinas and South Plainfield will both be playing Kennedy Memorial the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
