Marian Catholic lost against Providence Catholic back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans fell just short of the Celtics by a score of 2-1. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Marian Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendyl Rainey, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Marian Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Providence Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Marian Catholic nor Providence Catholic have any future games scheduled.
