Galena Park won the last time they faced Spring Woods and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yellowjackets' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 15-0 shutout. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

Galena Park's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Spring Woods, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Galena Park will square off against Milby at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Buffs have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Spring Woods, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westbury at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
