Sycamore and Hamilton are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Aviators will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Big Blue at 5:00 p.m. Neither Sycamore nor Hamilton posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Sycamore fell victim to Lakota West and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Firebirds. The Aviators have struggled against the Firebirds recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Hamilton might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to Lakota East, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Big Blue have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sycamore's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Everything went Sycamore's way against Hamilton in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Sycamore made off with a 12-1 win. Do the Aviators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Big Blue turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
