It's playoff time, and Alta had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Viewmont Vikings on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jackson Veigel, who had six digs and two aces.

Alta has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Viewmont, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.

Alta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Maple Mountain on the 10th. As for Viewmont, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Salem Hills on the 10th.
