Basketball Recap: Towner-Granville-Upham Takes a Loss

Towner-Granville-Upham was the 72-49 winner over Tioga when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Towner-Granville-Upham Titans took a 70-54 bruising from the Tioga Pirates on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly 16 points.

Towner-Granville-Upham now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Tioga, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Towner-Granville-Upham will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Westhope/Newburg at 7:15 p.m. on December 19th. As for Tioga, they will square off against Glenburn at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tioga has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 232 points over their last three contests.
