Volleyball Recap: Plainfield East Takes a Loss

Plainfield East was the 2-0 winner over Oswego when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bengals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Tuesday. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17.

Plainfield East's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Oswego, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Plainfield East will challenge rival Plainfield South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oswego is set to take on their familiar foe Oswego East at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
