Basketball Recap: Miyamura Comes Up Short

Miyamura was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat. They took a 38-20 bruising from the Shiprock Chieftains. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chieftains this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-14 on February 6th.

Heaven Lee was Miyamura's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Miyamura's loss dropped their record down to 1-25. As for Shiprock, their victory bumped their record up to 12-14.

While Miyamura had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
