For the second straight game, Davis will face off against Layton. The Darts will venture away from home to face off against the Lancers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Davis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Davis had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Layton on Tuesday. The Darts blew past the Lancers 15-5. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Croydon Christensen looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Owen Talbot, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Stryder Prowse, who went 3-for-4 with four runs and two RBI.

Davis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Davis pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.43 runs across that stretch. As for Layton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
