Baseball Game Preview: North Central Knights vs. Buford Yellow Jackets

For the second straight game, North Central will face off against Buford. The Knights will take on the Yellow Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. North Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Tuesday, North Central came up short against Buford and fell 8-3.

For Buford's part, they let Easton Rollings and Gavin Lowery run wild. Rollings scored two runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4, while Lowery went 2-for-4 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. Those four hits gave Rollings a new career-high. Jayden Mckenzie was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

The victory made it two in a row for Buford and bumps their season record up to 11-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for North Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
