Preview: Lutheran North Mustangs vs. Greenhills Gryphons
The Lutheran North Mustangs will be playing at home against the Greenhills Gryphons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Lutheran North focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Lutheran North ended up a good deal behind Loyola and lost 65-46.
The losing side was boosted by Joshua Brown, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Monroe, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, even though Divine Child scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, Greenhills still came out on top. Greenhills walked away with a 70-58 win over Divine Child. Given Greenhills' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Divine Child is ranked 329th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lutheran North now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Greenhills, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
