Soccer Game Preview: Loretto vs. Lewis County

The Loretto Mustangs will take on the Lewis County Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewis County took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Loretto, who comes in off a win.

Loretto's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Richland as they made off with a 3-0 win. Loretto might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lewis County's offense. They lost 7-0 to Richland last Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Lewis County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Richland are ranked 97th).

Lewis County's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Loretto, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1.
