Basketball Recap: Gulf Pointe Latin Comes Up Short

If Gulf Pointe Latin was feeling good fresh off their 64-35 takedown of Varsity Opponent last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators took a 60-42 bruising from the Central Christian Saints on Thursday.

Gulf Pointe Latin now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Central Christian, they moved to 4-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Gulf Pointe Latin and Covenant Christian will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Gulf Pointe Latin is facing Covenant Christian at the right time seeing as Covenant Christian is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Central Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Gulf Pointe Latin at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
