Lincoln has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mission recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mustangs will take on the Bears at 3:30 p.m. Neither Lincoln nor Mission posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Lincoln came up short against Monta Vista on Saturday, falling 11-2.

Lincoln saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santino Ibarra-Duran, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-1 to Mills. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly 14 runs.

Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Lincoln, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Lincoln got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Mission by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
