On Saturday, Covenant Christian had to suffer through a rough 81-41 loss at the hands of Greater Beckley Christian. Covenant Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Averyk Woodson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Greater Beckley Christian, scoring 22 points along with two steals. Woodson hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Isaiah Kincaid was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Covenant Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greater Beckley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Covenant Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Greater Beckley Christian will be playing at home against Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Liberty has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5.
