Recap: New Kent Trojans vs. Bruton Panthers
The New Kent Trojans can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They didn't even let Bruton onto the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's another feather in the cap for New Kent, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
New Kent's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Bruton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
New Kent does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bruton will head out on the road to face off against King William at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King William knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Bruton likes a good challenge.
