Basketball Game Preview: Frazee Hornets vs. Park Rapids Panthers

The Frazee Hornets will venture away from home to square off against the Park Rapids Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Frazee was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Battle Lake on Friday. Frazee blew past Battle Lake 81-57.

Meanwhile, Park Rapids ended up a good deal behind East Grand Forks on Monday and lost 84-66. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Green Wave are ranked 70th).

Park Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Frazee, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.

Frazee came up short against Park Rapids in their previous matchup back in January, falling 69-57. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Park Rapids' Ryan Carroll, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 19 boards.
