Baseball Recap: Scituate Spartans vs. Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Scituate can now relate to. They fell just short of the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights by a score of 6-4 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Spartans have suffered since April 28th.
Bishop Green was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits.
