Basketball Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Seven Rivers Christian had won four straight road games and Annalise De Beer did her part to make it five on Monday. The Seven Rivers Christian Warriors breezed by the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers to the tune of 66-19 thanks in part to De Beer, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 14 boards. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Zoey Houle, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 11 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Those six boards gave her a new career-high.

Seven Rivers Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Seven Rivers Christian and Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Seven Rivers Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52 points per game this season. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 43-33 loss against Lakeside Christian on the 17th.
