Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eagleton College & Career Academy). They blew past the Rockwood Tigers 8-2 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Eagleton College & Career Academy needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Eagleton College & Career Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six games. As for Rockwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eagleton College & Career Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Roane County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rockwood will challenge rival Maryville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
