Basketball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Countryside Academy last Friday, River Valley came back down to earth. The River Valley Mustangs took a 44-30 bruising from the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers on Monday. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

River Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-45 loss against Buchanan on the 11th. As for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, they will host Brandywine at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
