Union Pines' loss came despite strong showings from Trent Hilburn and Kingsley Donaldson. Hilburn dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Donaldson scored nine points along with six rebounds. The contest was Hilburn's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zion Kiser, who scored seven points.
Union Pines struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
The win got Overhills back to even at 4-4. As for Union Pines, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
