Softball Recap: Spring Woods Takes a Loss

If Spring Woods was feeling good fresh off their 17-0 takedown of Sharpstown last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 15-0 to the Galena Park Yellowjackets on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in February.

Spring Woods has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Galena Park, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spring Woods is set to take on their familiar foe Westbury at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Galena Park will face off against rival Milby at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
