Huffman came out on top against Woodlawn on Friday thanks in part to Xavier Brown's efforts. Brown scored four runs and stole three bases, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Huffman's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 5-8 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Brown and Huffman will square off against Shades Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since March of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
