After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Renaissance, Cass Tech was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds. The Technicians haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Edsel Ford scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-18, 19-25, 25-22.

Leading Cass Tech to victory were Miryam Hurtado-Medina and Kennedy Hopson. Hurtado-Medina had 18 digs and nine assists, while Hopson had 21 assists and seven digs. That's the most digs Hopson has posted since back in September.

Cass Tech's win bumped their record up to 17-23-1. As for Edsel Ford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13-1 record this season.

Cass Tech has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against King on the 6th. Edsel Ford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
