Mercyhurst Prep extended their home winning streak to 13 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Tanner Ashton. The Mercyhurst Prep Lakers strolled past Varsity Opponent with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 72-56 thanks in part to Ashton, who posted 27 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Mercyhurst Prep is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
