Baseball Recap: Schuylkill Valley Takes a Loss

Schuylkill Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Berks Catholic, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Blue Jays by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Blue Jays: they've now lost three in a row.

Schuylkill Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Salinger Kehs-Rossi, who went 2-for-3 with two triples and two runs.

Schuylkill Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Berks Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Schuylkill Valley will square off against Pottsville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berks Catholic, they will face off against Executive Education Academy Charter School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
