Cicero-North Syracuse blew Christian Brothers Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Christian Brothers Academy got their revenge. The Northstars fell just short of the Brothers by a score of 45-42.

Several Northstars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nadarren Carter, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Ayden Stevens, who posted eight points.

Cicero-North Syracuse's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Cicero-North Syracuse will head out to take on Wilson Magnet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-41 win against Jamesville-DeWitt on the 6th.
