            Basketball Recap: Triton Trojans vs. Jimtown Jimmies        
        
		
        
        
            Triton's game  last Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They blew past the Jimtown Jimmies 56-24. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Savannah Hawley was nothing short of spectacular: she  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 12  rebounds.  Sydney King was another key player,  putting up nine points.

 Triton was working as a unit and  finished the game with 13  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in November of 2023.
 Jimtown's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kiera Jackson, who  posted ten points and three  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lily Gaugler, who  had five  points and three  steals.
Triton's win  ended  a  six-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 1-11. As for Jimtown,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-12.
 Triton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  70-35  loss against Bremen on the 19th. As for Jimtown, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  49-14  defeat against NorthWood on the 19th.
