Basketball Recap: Morgan Park Comes Up Short

If Morgan Park was feeling good fresh off their 49-7 takedown of Agricultural Science last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Morgan Park Mustangs came up short against the Simeon Wolverines on Wednesday, falling 46-21. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Simeon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katelyn Sullivan, who went 5 of 10 en route to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Dijona Berrien, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.

Morgan Park dropped their record down to 5-8 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Simeon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Morgan Park will face off against Perspectives Leadership/Technology at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Simeon, they will take on Westinghouse at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
