Volleyball Recap: Lee's Summit North Falls Short Against Ranked Rockhurst

Lee's Summit North faced Rockhurst in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Broncos took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawklets. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Hawklets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

While Lee's Summit North had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Lee's Summit North still got an impressive performance from Brayden Wilson, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Lee's Summit North's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-1. As for Rockhurst, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Lee's Summit North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hickman on the 2nd. As for Rockhurst, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Oak Park on the 3rd.
