If Immaculate Heart wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Marlborough, they should've done a better job of containing Tatawan Vongfak. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pandas on Wednesday thanks in part to Vongfak, who had 21 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

While Marlborough might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Immaculate Heart scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24, 25-18.

Marlborough's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Immaculate Heart, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Marlborough didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against El Camino Real on the 26th. As for Immaculate Heart, they will welcome Notre Dame (SO) at 6:00 p.m. on October 2.
