Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They breezed by the Neuse Christian Academy Lions to the tune of 56-23 on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 40-20 victory last Friday.

Despite the loss, Neuse Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aidan Graham posted 12 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Graham a new career-high.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-15. As for Neuse Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill has already played their next game, a 54-36 defeat against St. Thomas More Academy on the 6th. As for Neuse Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Halifax Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th. Neuse Christian Academy is facing Halifax Academy at the right time seeing as Halifax Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
