Brayisha Avery Game Report: vs Wichita Defenders HomeSchool

A big congratulations to Brayisha Avery, who grabbed at least five steals for the first time in her career. She posted six points in addition to 12 boards, eight assists, and five steals as Kansas City East Christian Academy took down Wichita Defenders HomeSchool 54-43. Our internal rating system judged Saturday's effort as the best she's ever given (but hopefully not for long).

Coming up, Avery and Kansas City East Christian Academy will take on Faith Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last time these two faced off, Avery and Co. were forced to settle for a 48-35 loss. If she drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
