             The San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots and the Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors are set to duel  on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
 Last Friday, San Jacinto Christian Academy came up short against Christ the King Cathedral  and fell  44-37. The Patriots have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the  defeat, San Jacinto Christian Academy got top-tier performance from   Marshall Mincher, who rushed for 156 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. Mincher also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  forcing a fumble and making a tackle.
 San Jacinto Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Sy Potter and  Jonathan Cruz.  Benton Meyers was another major factor on D,  making 13 total tackles.
 Even though they lost, San Jacinto Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 292  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in three consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Kingdom Prep Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 51.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They claimed a resounding  51-0 win over the Crusaders. Considering the Warriors have won six contests by more than 27  points this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 San Jacinto Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Kingdom Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
