Basketball Recap: California School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

California School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Contra Costa Christian Cougars and fell 67-30. The Eagles lost against the Cougars in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-40 score last time.

California School for the Deaf got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Haseebullah Hataki and Alvin Evans, who each put up eight points.

California School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Contra Costa Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

California School for the Deaf didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-39 defeat against Pacific Collegiate on the 5th. As for Contra Costa Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 44-39 victory against San Francisco Waldorf on the 5th.
