Softball Recap: Ariton Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Ariton's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Straughn Tigers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-2 defeat back in February.

Ariton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10-1 record this season. As for Straughn, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-15.

Ariton has already played their next game (against Rehobeth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Straughn, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-1 defeat against Andalusia on the 5th.
