Baseball Recap: Culleoka Takes a Loss

Culleoka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Richland Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Monday.

Culleoka saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Richardson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Culleoka's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Richland, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Culleoka will head out on the road to square off against Mt. Pleasant at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Richland, they will take on Loretto at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
