Volleyball Recap: Eastern View Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Eastern View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caroline Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cyclones of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Eastern View had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 26-28, 25-20.

Lily Stiffler paced Eastern View's offense, picking up eight kills. Stiffler got some help from Tatum Caparese and her 14 assists. Stiffler also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ella Souliyadeth, racking up two apiece.

Eastern View's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Caroline, they pushed their record up to 4-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Eastern View will take on Woodgrove at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Caroline, they will face off against James Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
