Football Recap: Providence Hall Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Providence Hall's offense. They were outmatched by the South Sevier Rams and fell 54-0. The Patriots lost against the Rams in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 77-0 score last time.

Hudson Flinders was his usual excellent self, rushing for 186 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries for South Sevier. Those 186 rushing yards gave Flinders a new career-high. Rayce Freeman got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Providence Hall's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Sevier, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Providence Hall has already played their next contest, a 58-0 victory against Grand County on the 12th. As for South Sevier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 48-3 win against American Leadership Academy on the 12th.
