Basketball Recap: Cedar Shoals Takes a Loss

Cedar Shoals was the 73-67 winner over Madison County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Cedar Shoals Jaguars fell 66-57 to the Madison County Red Raiders on Friday.

Cedar Shoals' defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Madison County, their record is now 18-6.

Cedar Shoals will square off against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cedar Shoals knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Rabun Gap-Nacoochee likes a good challenge. As for Madison County, they will welcome Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
