Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss

Wakefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Howells-Dodge Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10.

Wakefield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Howells-Dodge, the victory snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 14-10 record.

Wakefield has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Tekamah-Herman on the 18th. As for Howells-Dodge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against North Bend Central on the 16th.
