Volleyball Game Preview: Chandler Wolves vs. Pinnacle Pioneers

Chandler hasn't had much luck against Pinnacle recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wolves will face off against the Pioneers at 10:00 a.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Chandler lost 3-0 to Casteel on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Pinnacle faced O'Connor in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Thursday. The Pioneers came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Pioneers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-16.

Chandler's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Pinnacle, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-6.

Chandler couldn't quite get it done against Pinnacle in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
