It's playoff time, and Lexington had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Salt Fork Storm on Monday, sneaking past 5-3. The victory was nothing new for the Minutemen as they're now sitting on five straight.

Drake Powell made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Powell wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jack Miller, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Miller has posted since back in April.

Lexington's record now sits at 19-11. As for Salt Fork, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 23-8 record.

As of now, neither Lexington nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
