The Sunset Apollos will square off against the Newberg Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sunset's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Two weeks ago, Sunset was fully in charge, breezing past Roosevelt 42-6.

Meanwhile, Newberg came up short against Lake Oswego on Friday, falling 28-7. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Sunset now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Newberg, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Things could have been worse for Sunset, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 31-14 loss to Newberg in their previous matchup back in September of 2024.
