Baseball Recap: Clearfield Takes a Loss

Clearfield was the 5-2 winner over Hollidaysburg when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bison fell just short of the Golden Tigers by a score of 8-7 on Tuesday. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kam Kushner was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Noah Wriglesworth, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Clearfield now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hollidaysburg, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearfield will venture away from home to take on Somerset at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hollidaysburg, they will head out to challenge Richland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
