Soccer Recap: Mercedes Falls to Progreso in First Game of Season

Mercedes unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Progreso Red Ants on Friday, falling 5-0.

Mercedes wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Roma on the 17th. Progreso has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on the 17th.
