Soccer Recap: Bonney Lake Gets the Win

Bonney Lake's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Evergreen Plainsmen 1-0. Bonney Lake wouldn't have won without Mason Fry, who scored the game-winner.

The victory made it two in a row for Bonney Lake and bumps their season record up to 2-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Evergreen, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonney Lake will welcome Newport - Bellevue at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Evergreen, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against WF West at 7:00 p.m.
