Baseball Recap: Interlachen Comes Up Short

Vanguard hit Interlachen with a four-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams came up short against the Knights, falling 9-0. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

Interlachen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Lockhart, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Interlachen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Vanguard, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Interlachen will be playing at home against Crescent City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Vanguard, they will head out on the road to square off against Gainesville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
